Founded in 1978 on Sydney's Northern Beaches, Aloha quickly took off and received positive support from an unprecedented number of professionals from around the world in a relatively short space of time. The result was that over the next decade after the world tour, the Aloha brand would gain a foothold in most surfing regions and become known on all major surfing continents.
Professional surfing helped shape Aloha's ethos and significantly drove its design. The Aloha team reads like a who's who of surfing, with most long-standing members starting out in the junior ranks before making their way to the ASP or WCT tours of today. Over the years, our surfers have cemented the Aloha brand in the rich surfing history of Australia and the world through their exceptional surfing and individual personalities. At 36 years young, Aloha has the respect and recognition of the world's surfers, which is a true testament to our ability to be at the forefront of surfing and the lifestyle.
We are a growing group of like-minded people who have come together as stewards of the Aloha brand. Our goal is to create high quality boards and apparel that are designed with care and attention to design and art.
