Rinse after use
Rinse your wetsuit with fresh water after every session – whether in the sea or a lake. This removes salt, chlorine, and other residues that can make the material brittle.
Drying correctly
Always hang your suit inside out, as the inner lining retains more water. Use a wide clothes hanger or the trouser bar to avoid pressure marks on the shoulders. It is best to let it dry in the shade in a breezy spot – not in direct sunlight.
Do not machine wash!
Use a special wetsuit shampoo instead (e.g., Slosh or Piss Off by Rip Curl) for a thorough cleaning.
Storage
Store the suit dry and on a wide hanger – do not fold or crumple it, as this can damage the neoprene.
