The Egg 8'2" is a versatile and progressive surfboard that combines the advantages of a mini-malibu with those of a longboard. It offers enough maneuverability for nice turns while providing plenty of glide and comfortable paddling behavior.

Thanks to the modular Newave system, the character of the board can also be changed depending on the nose or tail section used. This allows the Egg to be flexibly adapted to different conditions, making it particularly well-suited for varied sessions and smaller summer waves.

Longboard Tail (part 3), center section (part 7), Mini-Malibu nose (part 4), Newave backpack, and the connecting elements required for assembly.

One surfboard – countless possibilities.

Newave surfboards are collapsible and modular in design. The individual board parts are connected within seconds using the specially developed connection system – no tools required.

The big advantage: the various parts of the Newave range can be combined with one another. This allows you to expand your board later with additional nose, center, or tail parts to create other shapes. With the complete Newave quiver of 7 parts in total, you can configure up to 9 different surfboards ranging from 5'10" to 9'0".

This means you have the right board for the wave conditions without having to transport or store multiple complete surfboards. Once disassembled, the boards also fit into the Newave backpack – perfect for travel by car, train, or plane.

In the water, the Newave feels like a classic surfboard despite the connections: the system was developed to maintain stability, flex, and performance.
