If it's broken, fix it!
Wetsuits have become increasingly better, but they are also susceptible to small tears or holes. With this neoprene repair kit you can carry out small and large repairs yourself. In addition to the glue, the kit also includes a neoprene patch and a brush for applying the glue. You can also use the patch to cover a larger hole.
The set contains a tube of 35 ml glue, a black brush and neoprene patches 10x15cm (2mm thick).
Close tightly after use.
Gluing neoprene - this is how it works:
- Adhesive surfaces must be clean, free of grease and dry
- Clean any repaired area with acetone or similar
- Pull the crack apart and fix it with weights so that the surface remains spread
- Apply adhesive thinly and evenly on both sides
- Allow adhesive to dry for approx. 5 minutes
- Join the adhesive surfaces properly and press them together firmly
- To be on the safe side, let it dry for a few more hours
When patching neoprene: apply a thin layer of glue to the neoprene and patch, allow to air for 5 minutes and then press the patch with a lot of pressure for 5 minutes. Round off the corners when patching.
