No more masking the surfboard, simply mill out a hole and insert the base, which is already threaded.
GORE™ Protective Vents allow EPS Core surfboards to move air back and forth between the core and the outside of the board while preventing water ingress. The reason for this is that EPS surfboard materials are affected by extreme temperature fluctuations. There is a double membrane made of “Gore-Tex” on both sides of a rubber O-ring. This membrane is waterproof, so that air and other gases can flow freely through the membrane, but liquids cannot penetrate the housing. The Gore-Tex membrane does not need to be adjusted.
The diameter of the base element is 32 mm. We recommend drilling a 34-36mm hole to ensure there is an efficient amount of resin around the base.
Gore membrane vents allow the passage of air and other gases in both directions while blocking the flow of liquid water. The technology behind the breathability of the vents lies in our ePTFE materials. Gore's microporous ePTFE membrane prevents pressure build-up by constantly equalizing the pressure difference between the interior of the case and its immediate surroundings. This constant replacement reduces the pressure on the seals. The vent allows air and other gases to flow freely through the membrane, but prevents liquids from entering the housing. The membrane offers different flow rates and fluid protection. The industry standard for epoxy surfboards made from expanded polystyrene foam or hollow boards such as wooden surfboards.
To fly, the valve can be opened slightly so that no negative pressure can arise. After installation, 1-2 holes still need to be drilled in the base.

Return deadline
Of course, you have the right to return goods. Please note, however, that for logistical reasons you only have 14 days to send the goods back to us. You can do this without giving a reason and it is sufficient if the posting date is within the deadline. But we are really very accommodating and of course we will extend the deadline for you - please just let us know quickly in advance. Please note, however, that we cannot extend the deadlines for "purchase on account" because this is an external payment provider.
Requirement
In contrast to many online providers, we do not simply throw away the returns, but sell them again in our store. We can therefore only accept goods that are neither used nor damaged. The risk and proof of return shipping lies with the customer.
Reimbursement
As soon as we have received the goods back in perfect condition, we will refund you the purchase price you have already paid. Depending on the payment method you choose, we will choose the same way to refund you the money.
Shipping costs for return shipping will not be refunded. Refunds will be processed within 14 days.

Delivery costs
We have most of our range in stock and dispatch as quickly as possible. We always strive to deliver the goods to you as quickly as possible. If, contrary to expectations, the item is not available, we will inform you by email. Shipping is usually done via DPD.
Free Shipping
For orders over CHF 80.00 we deliver free of charge within Switzerland (with the exception of surfboards, see below)! For orders under CHF 80 we charge a flat rate of CHF 10 delivery costs.
Shipping costs for surfboards and bulky goods
Bulky goods (such as surfboards) are the only items excluded from free shipping. If the order contains surfboards or a package with a length of more than 1 meter, we charge a flat shipping fee of 40 CHF per package. The applicable shipping costs will be displayed to you before you order.
Delivery outside Switzerland
At the moment, deliveries to Switzerland are only possible via the online shop. However, for orders abroad, we will be happy to provide you with a shipping quote for the desired foreign address. Simply use the contact form or write us an email.
