The Popper is the brainchild of James (Chilli), who wanted to create the most user-friendly, fun, and easy-to-ride twin fin (or 2 + 1) on the market. Based on a design Chilli has been refining for himself over the years, the Popper, as the name suggests, will spice up your summer! The Popper is perfect for beginners and intermediate surfers looking for a smaller board, or for experienced surfers who don't want to ride a longer board. It offers all the attributes of a much longer board for catching waves, packed into a short, flat, and forgiving speed board!

Rocker: A flat entry and flat exit can only mean one thing: SPEED. The flattened rocker creates a large, generous sweet spot that is complemented by the bottom contours.

Bottom Shape: The top third of the board is relatively flat, transitioning into a double concave through the middle. The bottom third features a deeper double concave/V-shape, allowing for an easy transition from rail to rail.

Outline: The outline is wide, rounded, and forgiving. The increased surface area and contact with the wave surface provide stability and better flow while surfing – two traits every surfer will love. The combination of a round tail and twin fins allows the board to both turn in the pocket and glide effortlessly across flatter wave faces.

Fin Recommendation FCS 2: MR or Power Twin: Both can be used with the smaller rear stabilizer; these two templates are more "upright" and provide pivot and performance. Modern Keel: Offers more down-the-line drive. A great option for point breaks, no stabilizer required.
