The 9'0" longboard combines a classic longboard feel with surprising maneuverability. It offers plenty of stability and allows you to move toward the nose, while remaining pleasantly controllable during turns.
Thanks to the low rocker, the board is very easy to paddle, picks up speed early, and glides effortlessly through smaller, softer waves. The voluminous rails, the V-concave, and the refined pintail provide solid hold while making direction changes easier—even when the waves get a bit steeper or hollower.

Newave surfboards are modular and can be taken apart. The individual board sections are connected within seconds using the specially developed connection system—no tools required.
The big advantage: The different parts of the Newave range are interchangeable. This allows you to expand your board later with additional nose, center, or tail sections to create other shapes. With the complete Newave quiver of 7 parts in total, you can configure up to 9 different surfboards, from 5'10" to 9'0".
This ensures you have the right board for the wave conditions without having to transport or store several complete surfboards. When disassembled, the boards fit into the Newave backpack—ideal for travel by car, train, or plane.
In the water, despite the connections, the Newave feels like a classic surfboard: the system was designed to ensure that stability, flex, and performance are maintained.
