Lost Surfboards Little Wing (Custom Order)

"A short and sweet psychedelic delight from the crazy (and sometimes masochistic) mind of Mason Ho. LITTLE WING is a playful performance shortboard focused on everyday fun in small to medium sized waves." Derived from one of our classic small wave boards, the Baby Buggy, LITTLE WING is a Mason Ho-inspired, direct descendant of this once very popular board.

Designed and developed at the request of His Psychedelic Majesty, we started with one of Mason's favorite boards, the 5'6" Baby Buggy, and built it from that chassis, retaining many of the elements that made it so lively in small waves and reworking it into something new and magical.

The LITTLE WING experience offers:
A short and wide outline, with lots of speed and lift generating surface, packed into a small but strong package.
A full, forgiving nose and a noticeable "hip" in the waist of the tail that is wide and curvy at the front fins but a little tucked in behind the rear fin, adding more precision cornering than the old Baby Buggy.
Low, fast entry rocker for fast speed out of the gate and on the line. Relaxed mid-turn progression and more than a little tail lift for quick release.
Soft, round, forgiving "Bally" rails front and center that taper into fast, hard edges and a thin, boxy tail.
An almost "exaggerated" deep concave in the center of the board and an even more pronounced double concave in the fins. The deepest concave in our line of performance boards. The concaves provide lift and pop, bringing both subpar and soft, playful waves to life to radically improve your small wave experience.
Increased thickness in the centerline, which continues into the nose, provides drive and paddling characteristics. The moderately rolled deck provides lower volume and soft, forgiving rails designed for entering and carving in 3D through the water surface.

Featuring a slight double concave in the tail, for Mason's aversion to glued on tail grips. The double concave deck provides extra grip and a nice 'broken in' feel right from the start. Most people will still add a grip, so we recommend one without a curve.
Graphically, we stick to Mason's vibe as a freewheeling "Voodoo Chile" of surfing and packaged LITTLE WING as a psychedelic trip where you kiss the sky.
