With little money and even less language skills, he found it difficult to get a foothold in school, so he spent a lot of time in nature. Even in later years, he was not able to gain much from the school career and instead taught himself the blacksmith's trade with the help of his father. As a passionate climber, he developed his own equipment, including climbing hooks and an ice axe, the design of which has hardly changed to this day. Gradually he expanded the range of his offer. He and his employees did not follow any particular strategy - everyone did what was necessary and what they felt like doing. From this mentality, the successful company Patagonia emerged over time.

Yvon Chouinard is a reluctant entrepreneur. All he really wanted was climbing and surfing - and yet he built a multi-million dollar company. In his youth he spent a lot of time in nature and had his father teach him the craft of blacksmithing. As an enthusiastic climber, he developed and sold his own equipment, the design of which has hardly changed to this day. Gradually he expanded the range of his offer, whereby he and his employees did not pursue any particular strategy: everyone did what was necessary - and what they felt like doing. From this mentality, the successful company Patagonia emerged over time. In this newly revised edition celebrating the 10th anniversary of the original issue, Yvon Chouinard - legendary rock climber, businessman, environmentalist and founder of Patagonia, Inc. - shows how his own philosophy of life became a successful company mission statement and what made Patagonia one of the most respected and environmentally conscious companies the earth made. Let the Coworkers Go Surfing is a book that is equally impressive for entrepreneurs and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

DESCRIPTIONPRODUCT INFORMATION

Return Period

You are of course entitled to return goods. Please note that you have 14 days after receipt to send the items back to us. You can do so without giving a reason – it is sufficient if the handover date is within the deadline. We are very flexible and can of course extend the deadline for you – just let us know quickly in advance. Please note, however, that we are unable to extend deadlines for "purchase on account" orders, as this is handled by an external payment provider.

Requirements

Unlike many online retailers, we do not simply dispose of returned items – we resell them in our store. We can therefore only accept returns that are neither used nor damaged. The risk and proof of return shipping lies with the customer.

Please register your return in your customer account. Once approved, you will receive all further information by email.

Refund

As soon as we have received the goods in perfect condition, we will refund the purchase price you have already paid. Depending on your chosen payment method, we will use the same method to return the money to you.

Shipping costs for outward and return delivery will not be refunded. If the retained purchase amount is less than CHF 80.-, CHF 10.- in postage costs will be deducted from the refund. Refunds are processed within 14 days.

Return Address

Once we have reviewed your return request, you can either send the items by post to the address below or drop them off directly at our store:

Surfari Surf Shop
Badenerstrasse 18

You are of course also welcome to come by in person and we will accept the goods directly.

Delivery costs

We have most of our range in stock and dispatch as quickly as possible. We always strive to deliver the goods to you as quickly as possible. If, contrary to expectations, the item is not available, we will inform you by email. Shipping is usually done via DPD.

Free Shipping

For orders over CHF 80.00 we deliver free of charge within Switzerland (with the exception of surfboards, see below)! For orders under CHF 80 we charge a flat rate of CHF 10 delivery costs.

Shipping costs for surfboards and bulky goods

Bulky goods (such as surfboards) are the only items excluded from free shipping. If the order contains surfboards or a package with a length of more than 1 meter, we charge a flat shipping fee of 40 CHF per package. The applicable shipping costs will be displayed to you before you order.

Delivery outside Switzerland

At the moment, deliveries to Switzerland are only possible via the online shop. However, for orders abroad, we will be happy to provide you with a shipping quote for the desired foreign address. Simply use the contact form or write us an email.
