The Beach Basha Pro is a four season multifunctional and convertible garment making it the most unique and versatile poncho on the market.

The changing garment concept was developed by surfers and outdoor athletes around the world. It's one of the most useful pieces of gear you'll ever own, and the Northcore Beach Basha is one of the finest examples out there.
Sometimes a changing poncho needs to provide maximum protection from the elements and extra warmth, such as during surf checks on cold or rainy days. That's why we created a unique, proprietary design that we call the Beach Basha Pro.
Our 380 gsm 100% cotton Beach Basha poncho offers optimal drying performance and privacy in a change of clothes. In addition, the thermal properties of the thick material protect against the cold. The Beach Basha Pro offers added versatility and protection by incorporating an extra layer of a weather-resistant, durable hard shell. The hard shell cleverly attaches to the inner terry cloth robe to create a tough, high performance, convertible robe. Not only can the Beach Basha Pro be worn as a complete set in Fall/Winter when the weather or conditions call for it, but it can also be converted. It is possible to use the inner layer as a terry towel only in spring/summer and even as a beach towel as it can be opened into a towel when unpacked.
The tough polyester outer has an impressive water resistance rating of 5000mm and a breathability or MVTR (Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate) rating of 5000g. This handles wind and showers while allowing moisture on the inner layer to breathe through the shell.
Each layer has a double-sided heavy-duty plastic zipper that can tear each layer individually or together into a single robe. To further integrate the two layers into one, the hood and wrists have Velcro connection strips to ensure a snug fit.
For changing, the inner armholes have a wide opening so that the arms can be pulled in for more privacy. There are fleece-lined pockets to keep hands warm. The Beach Basha Pro is a unisex garment available in two sizes. Small/Medium fits most people from younger teens to smaller adults, and Large/Extra Large fits most larger adults.
