Swiss Surfing
Surfing in Switzerland – Community, Promotion, and Development
Swiss Surfing is the national association for surfing in Switzerland. The organization is dedicated to the development of the sport – from youth talent to the elite level – and represents the Swiss surf community on a national and international level.

Swiss Surfing – the voice of surfing in Switzerland.
Swiss Surfing is committed to the promotion and further development of surfing in all its forms: from classic ocean surfing to rapid surfing and stationary waves inland.
As the official association, Swiss Surfing organizes national competitions, supports athletes, and establishes connections to international organizations, such as Olympic surfing. At the same time, the association creates a platform for the entire Swiss surf community – with projects, events, and initiatives centered around the sport.
Surfing in Switzerland is growing – and the community with it. Swiss Surfing ensures that this sport is promoted in a structured way and can be developed further in the long term. The association supports junior athletes, organizes competitions, and advocates for topics such as sustainability, fairness, and safety in surfing.
For us, one thing is clear: a strong surf community also requires a strong organization in the background.
Surfing in Switzerland takes place in very different locations – from river waves to modern wave pools:
Bremgarten River Wave, AG
Alaia Bay, Sion VS
Thun River Wave, BE
