MIKE OLSON REVEALS LIB TECH SURF
Mike Olson has spent decades surfing, shaping and thinking about alternative, high-performance and environmentally friendly materials and construction.
After 10 years of intensive product development, he was ready to unveil the Lib Tech Surf ecoIMPACTO project. A revolutionary surfboard construction that is stronger, more stable, more durable and more environmentally friendly than any other surfboard construction on the market.
With EcoIMPACTO, Mike has completely rewrote the surfboard building handbook and our construction method continues to evolve towards lighter, stronger and more responsive versions that are still "Dang Difficult To Ding"...

Lib Tech is a collective of creative boardsports dreamers who have broken down any barriers between themselves and making the dream come true. There's a lot more to every board they build than meets the eye. The belief that anything is possible.
The boards are all hand made and really massively more robust than all other surfboards. Even if you manage to get a thing into the board, the core won't draw water. Since Libtech has now taken over the shapes from Lost, they are some of the most exciting boards ever and the perfect travel boards.
Lib Tech 5'5" Puddle Jumper by Lost 30.5L - white
Regular price SFr. 989.90 Save SFr. -989.90“This is the most excited I have ever been about a small wave surfboard.” ~ Matt Biolos
Matt Biolos' favorite small wave shape is now also available in the light and robust Lib Tech design. This scores points, among other things, with reduced weight and extreme resistance.
Lib Tech Features:
- Light, robust Nitrogenecell core (20-40% recycled) with closed cell structure
- Magnesium fiber mat (similar to conventional E-fiberglass mats)
- Basalt fiber mat layer in the bottom to absorb impacts
- Carbon Power Spine Stringer to regulate flex and reinforce the deck
- Elasto Perimeter Dampening Fiber in the rails regulates the pop/flex of the board
- Sprock blogs to reinforce the tail (similar to carbon tailpatches on PU boards)
- Hexzylon fiber layer to avoid pressure things (visible from the outside as a honeycomb structure)
- Glazed with Bio-Matrix resin (epoxy-like, can be repaired with epoxy resin)
- FOC II Finboxes: FCS and FCS II compatible, allows the fin position to be moved 1/2'' back and forward; a little tighter than the first FOC Finbox generation, so with FCS II fins a little more pressure is necessary when inserting the fin!
- New look with brighter deck and rails
*Comes without fins

Radically Different
30 years of experience crafting and riding high performance environmentally friendly composite surf, skate and snowboards went into designing our unique waterboard process, materials and shapes. Each of the 31 pieces used to construct our surfboards are new materials to the surf industry.
Environmentally Nicer
100% closed cell foam won't absorb water... won't rot • More durable: Lasts longer, fewer dings, less boards in landfills • Recycled foam core: up to 50% recycled content in blank • Blank scraps all recycled • Elimination of hazardous resin systems • Non ozone depleting blowing agent • Basalt fiber: no additives, no boron • No solvents except water • No paint brushes • No sandpaper, no tape
Dang Difficult to Ding
Years of composite panel impact testing went into our unique combination of fibers, basalt and resin systems.
Voted toughest board of the year by Outside Magazine.
Crossing the street or the globe, tougher surfboards - free your mind!
If you do ding it, you don't have to get out of the water. Our core doesn't take on water.
Handcrafted in the USA
Every waterboard is hand made by surfers in the USA near Canada at the world's most environmental board factory! Magically fast Horsepower shape: short, lower rocker, straighter rail line with a speedy thumb tail and a high performance nose for aggressive modern surfing and acceleration in small to medium waves. Grovelation!

Lib Tech Surfboard "Puddle Jumper" 5'5" - (Rental)
Regular price SFr. 35.00 Save SFr. -35.00“This is the most excited I have ever been about a small wave surfboard.” ~ Matt Biolos
The concave underside of the Puddle Jumper Surfboard ends in a V towards the tail. The wide outline makes it easier to catch waves and ensures a stable planing. But even radical top-to-bottom maneuvers are no problem thanks to the concave underside and a little more rocker. The straight rails and the tail with V-shape make the board fast and hold the line even with powerful carves.
5'5” 20.5" 2.38" 30.5 liters
Try&Buy: Use the opportunity to test this board before you buy a new board. We will deduct up to a maximum of CHF 50 from the rent from the new price.
