      AFFORDABLE SHADOWS SINCE 2005
      "When I was growing up, my dad had a pair of sneakers in the garage that he wore when he mowed the lawn. He called them his 'knockaround' sneakers - they could be counted on, they were reliable, and they were his no matter if they broke.

      So I just transferred this idea to sunglasses. I wanted them to be affordable, and if you lose them or break them, it won't be a big deal. The name "Knockaround" seemed perfect for it - I'm going to knock these sunglasses out.


      LOOKS REALLY GOOD AND CAN TAKE A LOT
      Knockaround was founded in 2005 by Ace while he was an art student at the University of California, San Diego.

      Combining the classic East Coast style of his Virginia upbringing, his interest in design and fashion, and his newfound love for Southern California's always-sunny, laid-back lifestyle, Ace created a company centered around a line of sunglasses that were both practical and... was stylish.
