"My inspiration comes from the beautiful sport of surfing, the ocean itself and all other things Mother Nature has to offer. I grew up in Switzerland and spent my childhood mostly in the Alps or the Mediterranean. It took 21 years , until I finally discovered the beautiful sport of surfing, and since that first wave I've been hooked."

We met Fabian years ago as a shop customer at Surfari and have always followed his artistic career attentively. We are very happy to beautify our shop with his art and to sell his art prints!

Fabian briefly introduces himself:

For a long time, drawing was more of an intensive hobby alongside my studies. After completing my master's degree in sustainable development with a major in economics, I tried to find my way around entrepreneurial life for a year. However, this did not bring me the fulfillment I was hoping for, so I decided to make art my career path.

Thanks to my 'know-how' from my studies, the topic of sustainability is even more important to me. I now live much more consciously and perceive my environment very differently than before. Aside from that, I also started changing some of my behaviors like giving up meat and avoiding dairy as much as possible.

With this change, my purchasing behavior has also changed. That's why all the products I use for my art are carefully selected. Unfortunately, as I am a small company, these products are often more expensive. However , in this way I hope to be part of the change towards a more sustainable future.
