Warranty cases

Of course, we provide a guarantee on all of our products in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations. The law prescribes a two-year guarantee (legal term: warranty right) for defects ( Art. 210 Para. 1 OR ). After two years, the seller is no longer liable, even if you immediately report the original defect that you only now discovered. In this case, the seller is only liable if he fraudulently concealed the defect.

In this case, defects refer to manufacturing defects in material or workmanship. Defects due to wear and tear are covered by a maximum of 1 year manufacturer's warranty and are therefore excluded from this regulation.

In general; In the event of any defects, the customer must report them to Surfari immediately and, if necessary, document the defect directly. (Pictures via email to shop@surfari.ch.)

8. WARRANTY

8.1 Surfari GmbH guarantees that the products are free of defects at the time of shipment that would nullify or reduce their value or suitability for normal use. An insignificant reduction in value or suitability is not taken into account.
8.2 In addition, the customer potentially has claims from guarantee statements from the manufacturers of some products that are included with the products. The customer must check the goods for completeness or any defects immediately upon receipt of the delivery, at the latest within one week of receipt. In the event of a deviation, the customer must immediately notify Surfari GmbH of a defect. In the case of hidden defects, notification must be made immediately after the hidden defect has been discovered within the warranty period.
8.3 In the event of an incomplete delivery, Surfari GmbH will deliver immediately. Furthermore, Surfari GmbH initially has the right to either repair the defective item or make a replacement delivery. If the repair repeatedly fails or there is repeatedly no satisfactory replacement delivery, the customer is entitled to either reduce the purchase price or withdraw from the contract (cancellation).
8.4 Surfari GmbH is liable for guaranteed properties to the extent that they are expressly marked as guaranteed or as a “guarantee” on the homepage.
8.5 Surfari GmbH does not provide any guarantee for wearing parts or for defects that are due to improper use or excessive use of the goods by the customer.
