GBS Sealed Steamer with Heat Pads

The PRODIGY is a chest zip wetsuit, a highly refined version with significantly greater flexibility than most designs. In the lumbar region we have integrated a system of removeable re-usable heat pads. These can be activated while in the water when the winter chill starts to set in. The extra warmth in the crucial kidney area gives up to an hour of added surfing time.

After a year of focussed quality tests we have the highest grade espan extend neoprene we've ever seen and seams which are taped by hand. This combines to make a very high-end wetsuit in anyone's books. By combining this performance design with the highest grade materials AND a heating system, the concept of performance surfing in sub 10 degrees water becomes a reality, and the idea of teeth chattering surfs a thing of the past. And the best thing of all we have kept it within the realms of affordability additional heat pad packs.

• CHEST ZIP DESIGN: Chest Zips make suits warmer as a single back panel cuts outside water penetrating towards the lumbar region.
• ESPAN EXTEND NEOPRENE: We use a combination of Espan Extend and Superstretch neoprene, with 100% stretch for unrivalled performance, and Superlite neoprene, creating a lighter suit and ensuring greater freedom of movement.
• SLICK SEALS: Slick seals keep cold water out and warm water in. Also provides effective prevention against neoprene fatigue in the cuff and ankles
• SEALED SEAMS: Sealed seams prevent water penetration through seams, retaining interior warmth for longe
• GLUED AND BLINDSTITCHED: In this process, the needle does not pass all the way through the neoprene, reducing the chance of water penetration.
• HOLLOW FIBRE LINED: Soft wool like linings wick away moisture and increase insulation. Kept to core panels so as not to restrict movement.
• DURATECH KNEES: Used in high wear areas, this is the most durable neoprene available, with excellent stretch qualities.
